Down town bus terminal, Douglas Street, Victoria, B.C. (Camera: Konica Big Mini BM-302; Film: Kodak Gold 200)
Soon to be no more, the down town Greyhound and Pacific Coach Lines bus depot. I for one will miss all its kitschy splendour it when it’s gone. The seagull was once a popular icon for Victoria and often appeared on tourist signs and posters, often accompanied with the enticing slogan “follow the birds to Victoria, British Columbia.” Ah, simpler times.
That is a terrific exposure of a landmark so familiar I barely notice it anymore. Looks like that camera is one of the point and shoots worth owning.
