The mountain’s shadow cast onto smoke from one of several nearby fires. This past summer, it seemed the whole of the western half of North America was on fire.

One of the most fascinating little bodies of water in Canada. It’s located in the hills east of the town of Okanagan Falls, in British Columbia’s picturesque Okanagan Valley.

I visited Oregon once again, this time for the August 21 solar eclipse. The spectacular, red sunsets we “enjoyed” were the worrying results of several huge, nearby forest fires.
