One of the many remarkable aspects of Icelandic culture is their dedication to public art of a very high quality. Walking around Reykjavik, you see it everywhere. There’s even a fine showing at Keflavik airport, including the whimsical Jet Nest sculpture by Magnús Tómasson, which greets (or bids farewell, depending) visitors, as well as the piece shown above.
