Sunset on Þorgeirsfellshyrna

Snaefellsnes Peninsula, Iceland.
(Camera: Nikon AF600; Film: Kodak ProImage 100)

This is a view facing northwest from Ytri Tunga (Seal Beach) toward the 601-metre-high mountain Þorgeirsfellshyrna, the name of which roughly translates into Thor’s-spear-mountain-peak. The leftmost building sitting on a hillock is Kirkjuhóll Lighthouse. So far as I know, the foreground stream is unnamed. (Click on the image for a full-res version.)

My reviews of the nifty Nikon AF600 can be found here and here.
