The station was part of the Glasgow Central Railway system and opened in 1896. It saw its last passengers in 1939. The towering spire in the background is Òran Mór, whose construction began in 1862. Originally founded as the Kelvinside Free Church, it’s now a place to go for “a play, a pie, and a pint.”
