  1. Shipwrecks always are a sad situation : emotional heartbreak – to be more specific (ad I never been a sailor).

    I think in this case, the sadness is perhaps not as great as many wrecks that have tragedies associated with them. The story of these ships seem to have been one of unrealized ambitions and abandonment.
