After the Fire

Skeletal remains near Spotted Lake, B.C.
(Camera: Yashica C; Film: Ilford XP2 Super 400)

We’ve had a long, hot and dry summer here in British Columbia with plenty of wildfires. This scene was captured in August along highway 3, near the viewpoint for Spotted Lake, northwest of the town of Osoyoos.

Nostalgia’s Warm Glow

Okanagan Lake, Penticton, B.C.

Store Closed!

Yates Street, Victoria, B.C. (Camera: Kodak Retina IIIc; Film: Kodak Ektar 100)

You know when a store has a “going out of business” sale, but then carries on after the sale? Well, you know it’s really over when… there’s a digger in your store and the ceiling and walls are missing. These guys really meant it when then had a store closing sale.
